Academy for Nonviolence Spring 2025

The James Lawson Institute for the Research and Study of Nonviolent Movements at Vanderbilt University announces the Academy for Nonviolence certificate program in Transformative Nonviolence.

Are you ready to engage in a process that will deepen your commitment to nonviolence and a world filled with justice, courage, spiritual wisdom, and communal care?

Join us on this path by enrolling in the Transformative Nonviolence certificate program. 

This six-session program is open to the public. Classes will take place each Wednesday evening, May 14th-June 18th at Vanderbilt Divinity School from 5 pm- 6:30 pm.

Certificate Program Fee: $300 (Completion of all sessions to receive certificate)

Individual Session Fee: $50 (per course)
